Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter Review!x

Hello Everyone,
Today's post is about a product that I've been loving recently. Most of you have probably used this product before as it has been out in stores for a while now, but the product I will be reviewing today is 'Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter'. I have the 300ml pot which got given to me by a family member as they currently wasn't using it and didn't want it to go to waste. You can also get a mini size version of 'The Righteous Butter' which is 50ml, which is your travel size. I have been on and off this product for the past 2-3 months now as I have been using other creams as well as this one. So I have recently started using it again and realized how much I loved the product.

Although this product has mainly been designed for your body which I do use it for my feet, knees and elbows (places I get dry patches the most), I've recently just started using this product on my face....yes my face....and surprisingly it worked amazingly. It made my face a lot softer and smoother in texture and also made it look cleansed and fresher and I suffer with dry/oily skin so I was very shocked when I seen the results of the product especially as its not really designed for the face. Since experimenting with it I currently use it all over my body (including my face) every time I get out of the shower or when I have those irritating dry patches or even just want to give my skin a boost of moister.

The formula of the product is thick but not heavy at all on your body/face, Its actually really light considering that it is a thick consistency. The scent to the product is to die for...it just smells amazing. The scent to the product is from their 'Original Pink' fragrance which to me is a very fruity citrus scent with a little bit of  'muskyness' to it which smells fresh and not overpowering at all. The product does leave a little bit of scent on your skin after applying which I really like.

Another thing I love about the product is the fact that it has Shea Butter and Aloe Vera in it. These two ingredients are my favorite in a moisturizer as they make your skin feel much softer and smoother which 'The Righteous Butter' surely does do.

The size of 300ml pot is amazing especially for the amount of product you get inside. Unfortunately its too big to obviously travel with so for 'Soap & Glory' to do a 50ml 'travel size' of the product makes me very very happy.

The packaging itself is a beautiful pink color with a beautiful women illustration on the lid. I find that the packaging is very eye catching especially with the incredible font. They also have there very simple but cute logo on the pot itself.

I highly recommend 'The Righteous Butter' to everyone especially if you suffer with dry skin. It retails at £10 for the 300ml at Boots and £3 for the 50ml at Boots.

This is the only product in the whole range that I have tried from 'Soap & Glory' so I am hoping to try some of their other products soon. If you do have any recommendations then please do leave a comment below, also let me know your thoughts of 'The Righteous Butter'.

Until then!

Pregnancy Tag!!x

Hello Everyone,
So as many of you know (if you follow me on my social media or youtube) I am currently pregnant, so today I thought it would be fun to do a pregnancy tag seeming as I haven't got long left now and also thought it would mix things up here on my blog. So if you want to know about my pregnancy then carrying on reading.

One of my pregnancy tests (Positive).

1. How many months are you?
Writing this blog post right now i am currently 6 months and 3 weeks (27 weeks and 3 days).

2. Family’s Reaction?

Due to family I only really have my mum and 2 brothers. My mum for some unknown reason was expecting me to get pregnant so was very excited when I told her. My two brothers.....well......it took them some time to catch onto it but now they cant wait to meet their new family member.

3. Do you know the sex?

Yes, I am having a lovely little girl. At first I thought she was a boy because she was covering her lady area up with her hands which were clenched and looked like little testicles but once she moved them we got told she was a girl.

My Beautiful Princess<3

4. What did you want?
Either. At the end of the day boy or girl I would still love them unconditionally.

5. Do you want more?
Maybe. Seeming as this is my 1st pregnancy lets see how this one goes first haha. Don't want to be planning ahead just yet.

6. Biggest craving?

I haven't had one craving that has stuck with me to be totally honest. Cravings I have had are things like chicken, chewy sweets such as wine gums and haribo's starmix, Jamaican ginger cake. The weirdest craving I have had thou is the smell of my beloveds (partners) shampoo (head and shoulders menthol).

7. Best part of being pregnant?

Feeling her move in my stomach.

8. Worst part of being pregnant?

Peeing all the time (like every half hour), constant back pains, the heartburn.

9. Names picked out?

I don't want to revel the name of my daughter as I want that to be a surprise for when she is born but if we was having a boy is was going to be Mayson Nicolae Vlad.

10. Who will be with you during labor?

Well obviously my partner will be there as he is my next of king and my birth partner but I also want my mum to be there for support as it is her first grandchild and I would love her to be there to experience her grand-daughter being born.....plus i'm a right mummy's girl.

11. Birth plan?

I don't really have a birth plan but I've always said if I have children I want a water birth. Sometimes it doesn't go the way you want it. As long as my daughter comes out healthy that's all that matters to me.

12. Will you film it?

Nope. I don't mind picture been taken as soon as she is born but no videos haha.

13. Natural or Medicated?

I want to do it natural but it probably won't end up that way as i'm a huge wimp when it comes to pain....but if it does i'll be very happy. Like I said as long as she is born healthy that's all that really matters.

14. Scared about labor?

1,000,000,000% yes. Absolutely terrified.

15. What do you look forward to after pregnancy?

Watching my lovely little princess grow up and blossom into a beautiful women.
Also making lots of memories.

16. Breastfeed?

Yes. Due to my partner being Romanian they believe its healthier for the baby this way and very natural which I do truly agree with and I will be going ahead with it as long as the baby accepts.

17. Plan to work or be a stay at home mom?

To start with I will be a stay at home mum, but hoping in the near future when she is a little older that I could gain myself a secure job.

18. Will you make your own baby food?

Sometimes. May blend a few vegetables up and a few meals up for her but mainly will go for the ready made jar food.

19. Do you have nursery ideas/themes?

Well until she is 2-3 years old she will be staying in mine and my partners room, but I do have ideas for her room yes. Let's say its very pink and princess involved haha.

Thalgo Absolute Purifying Mask Review!x

Hello Everyone,
Today I will be reviewing a product that I got sent by the wonderful company 'Thalgo'. As you know a while back I did a blog post on their 'Pure Velvet Cleansing Cream' which 'Thalgo' were really impressed with-so due to this they sent me products to review for them.
As you can see by the title I will be reviewing their 'Absolute Purifying Mask'. I've been trying this product for about 2-3 weeks now so I could give a fair and honest review on the product. The same as my last blog post I will be categorizing the review into 6 sectors- First Impressions, What's In It, Usage, Effects, Value and Final Verdict-this is how most of my blog posts will be set out from now on. Further or do let's getting on with the review.

First Impression:

So obviously this product is from the same brand as my last review. It's from the French marine cosmetics company 'Thalgo'. The packaging is in a lovely grayish blue tube which is always great when it comes to masks as I personally hate the one's in the jars and also found the tube easier to work with as you can always squeeze little amounts at a time out. To many people wouldn't find the packaging to be very appealing but to me its great, Its simple and not to "in your face" which is great as I sometimes hate the "in your face" packaging especially on a "pricey" product like so. The product itself smells kind of tea tree, which hazel smelling which is great because I love them kind of scents as they are fresh and not so over powering. The product itself is a little thick but very creamy while applying to the face. I found the mask at first to apply on a very light ivory greenish color which to me was so fun because I thought it was gonna dry a darker color, unfortunately it didn't...in fact it dried up clear so it basically looked like you had nothing on your face.

What's In It:

Here are all the ingredients that are inside the product:-

Aqua (Water), Kaolin, Glycerin, Isononyl Isononanoate
Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Fucus Serratus Extract, Haematoccus Pluvialis Extract, Maris Aqua (Sea Water), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Leaf Extract, Hydroxyethyl, Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, PEG-75 Stearate, Ceteth-20, Steareth-20, Parfum (Fragrance), Chlorphenesin,Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Isostearate, Sodium Phytate, Sorbitol, Lecithin, Ethylhexylglycerin, Xanthan Gum, Caprylyl Glycol, Alcohol, Glyceryl Caprylate, Phenylpropanol, CI 42090 (Blue 1), Oleic Acid, CI 77491 (Iron Oxides).

Usage:

I applied the product twice a week (Wednesday & Sunday) for the following 2 to 3 weeks in an even layer across my entire face which I did find very difficult as I normally just "slap" the mask on my face and leave it to dry but due to instructions I did manage to get it even avoiding my eye area. I left this for 15 minutes (even thou it says to leave for 10) and then rinsed it off with luke warm water.

Effects:

So if you didn't know I do suffer with "combination" skin (dry/oily) so I was very concerned on how this product would work. Apparently to the product and "Thalgo" themselves this product can be used on all skin types. With the first usage of the mask I did notice a little difference with my skin not being so oily but it didn't really come to my expectations of what I thought the product would of done first time round as my skin still felt a dry in areas such as my cheeks. While waiting for the mask to dry I could feel it slowly sicking into my skin which felt very weird as I've never had a mask like that before (as I am more of a sheet mask person). I used the mask a couple more times after that and found the more I used it the better my skin was looking. It gave the dry areas more moister making it look even and not flakey and horrible and made the oily area's well less oily.

Value:

So the 40ml tube retails for £23.00 on their website and would probably last about 2-3 months depending on the usage. To me for a mask it is a little pricey but for the way it changed my skin I probably would purchase it.

Final Verdict:

Overall I think the "Thalgo Absolute Purifying Mask" is a actual life saver especially if you suffer with skin as dreadful as mine. I still can't get over how smooth and clean my skin looks every time I use the product. Even thou the price is a little pricey I still recommend it 100% to anyone- you never know it might become your new beloved mask.

If you are interested in the product you can go over to Thalgo's website which is http://www.thalgo.co.uk/

I hope you enjoyed my blog post. Let me know your favorite mask whether its a sheet mask to a clay mask.

Until then!x
